Photo: Franklin expedition ship found

A search team has found one of the ships belonging to the ill-fated Franklin Expedition, lost in 1846, Prime Minster Stephen Harper announced Sept. 9. A Parks Canada crew confirmed the find Sept. 7 using a remotely-operated underwater vehicle, although it’s not yet clear if the discovery is HMS Erebus or HMS Terror.
