Clyde River mayor Jerry Natanine made a trek to Toronto Nov. 6 to speak to a conference called the Public Consultation and Engagement Summit about his community’s struggle against seismic testing in nearby Baffin Bay. Groups in the Baffin community have filed an application at the Federal Court of Appeal seeking a judicial review of a recent decision by the National Energy Board to permit a five-year seismic testing project in Baffin Bay and Davis Strait. “Because we live there, that’s our water.
