The Government of Nunavut announced a new fuel rebate for homeowners. The 2014-15 rebate in a one-time payment of $500, Finance Minister Keith Peterson told the legislative assembly Nov. 4. To be eligible, Nunavummiut must have owned a home in the territory and used it as their primary residence as of Oct. 31, 2014. Nunavummiut who received the rebate last winter will receive information on this year’s rebate in the mail.
