Nunavut Premier Eva Aariak signs a memorandum of understanding on the Makimaniq anti-poverty plan with Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. president Cathy Towtongie Oct. 24 at the NTI annual general meeting in Iqaluit. The two organizations agreed to hold a series of roundtables on poverty reduction in the fall and a food security symposium in January 2013 to develop a Nunavut food security strategy by spring 2013.
