Photo: Greenlanders reach into their pockets to help fire victims

Greenlanders have reached into their pockets to help the victims of Iqaluit’s Feb. 26 fire. The Greenlandic chapter of the Red Cross plans to give 50,000 Danish kroner, or about $9,000, to help those who lost their homes and possessions when the 300-block of rowhouses in Creekside Village burned to the ground.
