Helene Mørch Berthelsen is a member of staff at a Nuuk luxury boutique called Qiviut, which specializes in knitwear made from muskox fur—a valuable material the store is named for—along with sealskin fashions. The shop is one of two Qiviut storefronts, the other being in Sisimiut where the brand’s founder Anita Høegh lives. The warm and lovely pieces are handmade by women in Greenland. Some of the muskox wool and sealskin used by the artisans come from animals hunted near Sisimiut and Kangerlussuaq. (PHOTO BY BETH BROWN)
