Photo: Hockey night in Panniqtuq

If you flood it, they will come. The boards for Pangnirtung’s outdoor rink were assembled this week and the ice surface flooded to perfection. It’s been full of avid skaters and hockey players ever since including on the night of Dec. 13, when this photo was taken. It was about -20 C that night but no one seemed to mind.
