A room with a view — or at least some light. Elder Piita Irniq, back turned, is on his way home to Ottawa from Nunatsiavut but not before showing his friends there how to renovate an iglu. “Cutting ice with a tuuq is a very hard job for making ice window,” Irniq wrote on his Facebook page. “What I have posted in terms of iglu and window and living space is how I lived with my family for the first 11 years of my life.
