Inookee organized a two-day bike safety rodeo for Iqaluit kids aged six to 12. Inookee, who will be attending a police foundations program at Algonquin College in September, said she decided to organize the rodeo in response to concerns about the safety of youth cycling on Iqaluit streets. “I thought it would be better to teach youth safety skills now before anything happened,” Inookee said.
