Levi Strauss-Enuaraq (in the coloured tee shirt) and about a dozen of his classmates from Inuksuk High School in Iqaluit, all students of teacher Renata Solski, will spend Remembrance Day, Nov. 11, immersed in the terrible history of western Europe. Starting Nov. 6, they plan to start their trip, which will include visits to Berlin, the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the home of Anne Frank in Amsterdam, Vimy Ridge, Juno Beach, Paris, as well as Canadian cemeteries and war memorials in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
