Photo: Iqaluit homeowner outraged over playground reno

An outraged Lower Base resident, John Manning, stands at a playground next door to his house where the City of Iqaluit has been installing new playground equipment for the past week and a half. Manning's upset about a big slide that towers over the fence that separates the playground from his property and this morning called a group of city officials to the site to demand they move the slide structure to another corner of the lot. The city's chief administrative officer was to have met with other city staff this morning, but as of mid-morning, the dispute was still unresolved.
