Photo: Iqaluit kids delight in visiting francophone performers

Children join in the fun March 6 at the Francophone Centre in Iqaluit during a performance of a hilarious and talented duo known as TNT or Trompette N Tuba. Seasoned, multi-instrumentalists, the duo played trombone, trumpet, cornet and tuba, offering youngsters an introduction to a variety of musical styles from jazz to classical. They also told stories with musical accompaniment to an audience of 35 or so adults and nearly as many children of all ages.
