Iqaluit meet world: A pair of Nunavut Arctic College environmental technology students are heading in opposite directions this weekend to represent Inuit at international conferences. Jennifer Amagoalik is on her way to Paris to participate in the Model Arctic Council Paris 2015 event held in conjunction with the United Nations COP 21 climate change talks currently underway. And Daniel Taukie heads west, to Vancouver, to participate in this year's ArcticNet scientific meeting, the largest annual Arctic science conference. Taukie will help to share results of a Northern Contaminants Program research project that he and his classmates participated in this year. Both students were selected by their classmates.
