Santa... in uniform: Iqaluit RCMP members hand out Christmas gifts to the 75 elders who enjoyed an early Christmas dinner Dec. 4 at Iqaluit's Catholic Church hall. The annual dinner, hosted by the RCMP, included a meal of turkey, ham, vegetables and stuffing, with a desert of cake and ice cream. In addition to draw prizes, including a Canadian North return airline ticket, every elder got a gift: the women received a round reusable dish containing a package of flour and sugar, while the men received socks, gloves and other items.
