Photo: Iqaluit school creates virtual classroom

A teacher at Aqsarniit Middle School in Iqaluit leads a class of students who are interacting with students at Bishop Strachan School in Toronto, via a videoconferencing project called Connected North. The Information Technology Association of Canada announced Nov. 19 that Connected North has won one of its “Ingenious Awards” this year for excellence in the use of information and communications technology.
