Photo: Iqaluit students stand up against bullying

The Amaruit Soccer Association out of Iqaluit’s Aqsarniit Middle School pose in pink Feb. 25 in support of Pink Shirt Day, a day to stand up against bullying in schools. Pink Shirt Day first started at a high school in Nova Scotia, when two students organized a day of awareness and support for a Grade 9 student who was being bullied for wearing a pink t-shirt to school.
