The CCGS Pierre Radisson made the journey to Iqaluit from Quebec City in six days, and will be in Arctic waters for the next four months. A communications spokesperson for the Canadian Coast Guard, Rachelle Smith, said the Radisson’s trip into Iqaluit was smooth sailing. “There was hardly any ice getting into Iqaluit,” Smith said.
