Photo: Is it tea time on the land?

Lucassie Cookie waits for the kettle to boil for tea about 50 kms outside of Umiujaq. Inuit communities north of the Arctic Circle are still waiting for the sun to return and the days to grow longer but Nunavik communities further south enjoy a few more hours of light this time of year. Cookie and Eddie Qumaluk were out hunting in the open water of Hudson Bay Jan. 9 when they decided to take a break for tea. (PHOTO BY EDDIE QUMALUK)
