Nunavik’s Jacob Oweetaluktuk and Nunatsiavut’s Tony Anderson, along with Tagak Curley and Meeka Kilabuk, both from Nunavut, representing the founding members of ITK 40 years ago, kick off the first session Nov. 2 of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami’s two-day conference, “From Eskimo to Inuit in 40 years.” The conference is part of the organization’s 40th anniversary celebrations at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
