Photo: It’s “Movember”

Quttiktuq MLA Ron Elliott took his razor Nov. 1 and shaved off his beard in an effort to grow it back for the prostate cancer awareness campaign, “Movember.” During the month of November or “Movember,” men can grow moustaches — and then shave them off — to raise money for prostate cancer-related programs and research. So far Elliott has raised $560 — the highest donation coming from Cambridge Bay MLA Keith Peterson, who gave $500.
