Ivujivik’s Mattiusi Iyaituk considers his next move while making a piece of stained glass art in the shape of a candle last month in his home community. The Kativik School Board Adult Education and Vocational Training Services (AEVTS) has been offering skills training courses around Nunavik this winter and at the beginning of February, stained glass instructors were in Ivujivik teaching participants the art of cutting glass and making stained glass art. The Kativik School Board’s AEVTS plans to hold a Nunavimmiut Futures Fair in six different Nunavik communities in March and April.
