Photo: Johnny May embarks on final candy drop tour

Nunavik pilot Johnny May’s single otter flies over Kuujjuaraapik March 18, the same week Makivik Corp. held its annual general meeting in the community. May is doing his final candy drop tour of the region starting April 15, where he’ll release prizes over each community. The tour, sponsored by Air Inuit and Makivik, starts in Kangiqsualujjuaq April 15 at noon and heads on to Tasiujaq the same day at 4:00 p.m. Weather depending, May is scheduled to visit Aupaluk and Kangirsuk April 18.
