Photo: Jumping for joy in Quebec City

Noah Tukkiapik and Inuppak Tukkiapik from Quaqtaq, Malena Gordon and Ashley Makiuk from Kuujjuaq, Anna Idlout and Hosea Aculiak, from Inukjuak along with Diane Fleming and Jocelyne Dufresne from Kuujjuraapik were the lucky winners of a five-day cultural trip to Quebec City and Montreal Nov. 7 – 12, during which they stopped to see Quebec’s National Assembly. The trip was coordinated by the Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau’s Piviallianiq-Nanuk program, which teaches 5th and 6th graders about vandalism prevention and how to care for the homes.
