Photo: Kangiqsualujjuaq teen goes to Rio on a mission

Last week Minnie Molly Snowball graduated from Ulluriaq School in Kangiqsualujjuaq. This week the teen is attending the Rio +20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development as part of a delegation of Students on Ice alumni. By the end the conference, Snowball hopes to cross paths with Quebec Premier Jean Charest, so she can tell him what Nunavimmiut think about his Plan Nord development scheme for northern Quebec.
