Inukjuak mayor Siasi Smiler welcomes regional councillors of the Kativik Regional Government to her Hudson Bay community May 25, where regional council meetings will take place until May 28. Among other discussions, those at the spring meeting will hear a review of Nunavik’s fire safety cover plan and the region’s travelling court system, while the KRG will also determine the 2016 social housing distribution for the region.
