Iqaluit author and Taissumani columnist Kenn Harper with one his many fans Feb. 8 at the Nunatta Sunakutangit museum in Iqaluit, at the launch of his new book, In Those Days, published by Inhabit Media. Subtitled “Inuit Lives, Book 1,” In Those Days contains many of his most popular columns from the Taissumani series, including stories about the famous Inuit guides from south Baffin, Joe and Hannah, and the Labrador Inuit, including Nancy Columbia, who were “exhibited” at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.
