U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Nunavut MP Leona Aglukkaq, also Canada’s minister responsible for the Arctic Council, greet each other shortly after Kerry’s aircraft, a U.S. government Boeing-757, touched down in Iqaluit. At this afternoon’s Arctic Council ministerial meeting, the chairmanship of the Arctic Council will pass to the U.S. for the next two years.
