K J Putulik attacks the course during the Kivalliq Challenge Cross Country snowmobile race which unfolded May 2 and May 3 during this year’s Pakallak Tyme spring festival in Rankin Inlet. The popular festival, which ran from April 24 to May 3 in the Kivalliq hub, featured dozens of events and games for adults and children including square dances, pond hockey and other sports, outdoor games, dress-up competitions and dogteam races.
