Young Clyde River hockey players try on new skates at the community arena. Local RCMP officer Gary Beifuss and his wife Crystal, a nurse in the community, run a weekly hockey session for youth. They recently handed out about 50 sticks, 30 pairs of skates, helmets and other equipment, including two full sets of child-sized goalie equipment. That's thanks to equipment donated to the Beifuss couple from friends, family, retired Ontario provincial police officers, and Just4KICS, a charity.
