Lots of smiles at the end of a week-long Inuinnaqtun learning program for youth put on by Pirurvik and the Kitikmeot Inuit Association in Cambridge Bay. The course, designed for youth who mainly speak English, took place Jan. 12 to Jan. 16 in Cambridge Bay. The goals: to speak Innuinaqtun with greater confidence, build vocabulary and improve reading and writing skills.
