Photo: Kuujjuaq elders treated to a local feast

Elders in Kuujjuaq enjoyed a feast of country foods such as caribou, fish and goose in Kuujjuaq Oct. 2 as part of an international celebration of older persons. Along with a buffet of foods, elders enjoyed activities and music. The feast was held at the Tusaajiapik elders and long-term care residence and was organized by both the residence and the Regional Board of Health and Social Services. (PHOTO BY ISABELLE DUBOIS)
