Photo: Kuujjuaq man admitted to Royal Geographic Society

Allen Gordon of Kuujjuaq at a ceremony held Nov. 13 at the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa, where Gordon became a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society at the organization’s annual dinner. Gordon is well known for his work with Arctic char, especially his development of fish hatcheries to restock char populations in bodies of fresh water around Kuujjuaq.
