Photo: Kuujjuaq musher celebrates Easter win

Kuujjuaq musher George Kauki gets some love from his sled dogs April 21, after winning the 20-km Easter dog sled race at Kuujuaq’s Stewart Lake. Six mushers competed in the weekend event, each travelling with a team of four sled dogs. Kauki completed the race in 1 hour and 45 minutes, picking up a $500 prize for his first-place finish.
