Each year, the federation's executive board members meet in either Yellowknife or Iqaluit and those coming to the Iqaluit meeting this year decided to bring food donations as part of the checked luggage since all they needed was carry-on bags.

Each year, the federation’s executive board members meet in either Yellowknife or Iqaluit and those coming to the Iqaluit meeting this year decided to bring food donations as part of the checked luggage since all they needed was carry-on bags. “The NTFL is hopeful that other people and organizations will be inspired to do something similar to help address and spread the awareness of food insecurity in Canada’s Arctic regions,” said Lambrecht, in a June 5 news release.
