Photo: Last year’s lingonberries, extra juicy and sweet

Cleaning up the harvest from last year… Matthew and Jordan Meeko pick sweet and juicy lingonberries which ripened last year and then froze over winter in Sanikiluaq. Lingonberries, also known as partridgeberries or cowberries, are similar in appearance and flavour to cranberries and are common on the Arctic tundra across the circumpolar world.
