Photo: Liberal leader Trudeau dropping by Iqaluit Saturday

Expect a few more selfies like this one in January with Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau when he swings through Iqaluit Saturday, Oct. 10 for a last-minute Nunavut stop before the Oct. 19 election. Trudeau will arrive with a cadre of national press and local liberal candidate Hunter Tootoo Saturday afternoon and plans to hold a feast as well, hot on the heels of NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair’s visit to Iqaluit at the end of September. The leaders are working hard and spending a lot of travel money and time going after Nunavut’s one seat, currently held by Conservative incumbent MP Leona Aglukkaq. The feast is scheduled for Inuksuk High School, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Read more later about the visit on Nunatsiaqonline.ca. (FILE PHOTO)
