Famed Nunavik bush pilot Johnny May teamed up with Santa Claus again this year for his annual candy drop in Kuujjuaq on Christmas day with the help of Bryan York, left inside plane, and Bruce Turner. This was May’s second last Christmas distribution of candy. After doing it for 50 years, May plans to retire in 2015 with a candy drop farewell tour of Nunavik communities beginning in April 2015 and culminating in his last Christmas candy drop in Kuujjuaq next Christmas.
