Maktaaq for all was laid out for the Aug. 9 bowhead whale hunt celebration in Pangnirtung, offering people a chance to share in the bounty from this past week’s successful bowhead whale hunt. After the feast, there was coffee and tea in the community centre, where residents watched a slide show of photos from the hunt, taken by Pangnirtung photographer David Kilabuk (some of which can be seen in a photo album on the Facebook page of Nunatsiaq News.)
