Photo: A new tool for Nanisiniq

Silas Illangiayok, an elder advisor on Arviat's Nanisiniq history project, and Curtis Konek, one of the project's researchers, test out the image distortion function on a new iMac used by by the Nunavut Research Institute to help produce a documentary film. Over the past year, members of the Nanisiniq team have collected archival footage and shot interviews with elders for a documentary on their discovery of Inuit history from the perspective of elders and youth.
