Photo: Montrealers march for missing and murdered Indigenous women

Lucy Annanack at the seventh annual memorial march to honour the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women in Montreal. Annanack, from Kangiqsualujjuaq, Que., started a project to honour the 1,200 missing and murdered Indigenous women with 1,200 inuksuit. With the help of 50 volunteers, she managed to get 400 completed for the Valentine’s Day march and will continue making them until June 21, Aboriginal Day, in Canada.
