Photo: MV Mitiq sits in an icy Wakeham Bay

NEAS’ MV Mitiq sits stranded in the ice on Wakeham Bay July 7, on the shores of the Nunavik community of Kangiqsujuaq. The vessel sailed into the mostly ice-free bay July 6, but winds from the North pushed more ice in later the same day.
