Photo: “My flowers among flowers”

During July, the land around Cambridge Bay in western Nunavut is covered in flowers, as this photo, “My flowers among flowers,” by Jennie Evalik shows. This photo took home a third prize in the culture category of the 2012 Omingmak Frolics’ photo contest. Entries to the photo contest, open to Cambridge Bay residents, had to show scenes in and around the community. You’ll see more of the winning photos later on Nunatsiaqonline.ca.
