Photo: NCC Dowland walks away from Nunavut hospital contract

Iqaluit’s old hospital building, which has been undergoing renovation work since last year under a $32.3 million contract between the Government of Nunavut and NCC Dowland Construction Ltd. This past May 3, NCC Dowland defaulted on the contract, which means GN officials must find a new general contractor to finish the work.
