Photo: New CanNor president arrives in Iqaluit

Patrick Borbey, the new president of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, has arrived in Iqaluit to continue work on his new job, which he started Dec. 19. Borbey, who is renting an apartment in Iqaluit, said the agency is committed to fixing the financial management problems revealed in audits late last year, by March 21. “We’re going to be working closely with the three territorial governments. These are all people I knew in my previous job as ADM of northern affairs,” Borbey said. Watch Nunatsiaqonline.ca for more. (PHOTO BY JIM BELL)
