Photo: New Makivik executives join the board

Makivik Corp.’s board appointed Adamie Delisle-Alaku of Salluit and Andy Pirti of Akuluvik, who won their positions in a Jan. 16 election, to the organization’s executive at a meeting held Jan. 21 and appointed them to various files and subsidiaries. The Makivik Corp. executive committee now comprises Jobie Tukkiapik, president; Michael Gordon, vice president, economic development; Adamie Delisle-Alaku, vice president, renewable resources; Andy Pirti, treasurer; Andy Moorhouse, corporate secretary.
