By NUNATSIAQ NEWS

Zacharias Kunuk’s newest film will celebrate its world premiere Oct. 16 at the Toronto-based imagineNATIVE film festival. Angirattut, or Coming Home, is a documentary that looks at Inuit oral tradition, following a group of elders as they journey back to their original homesites, pictured in this scene from the film. Despite its Toronto premiere, Angirattut will screen in Inuktitut with no English subtitles, a decision made by the Igloolik filmmaker in order to properly depict Inuit culture.
