Photo: NHLPA sends hockey gear for girls in Hall Beach

Three members of the Hall Beach Girls Hockey Association wear the new equipment they received courtesy from NHLPA Goals and Dreams organization and the Nashville Predators’ Jordin Tootoo, who worked with the NHLPA fund this year to help give more young girls in Nunavut the opportunity to play hockey. The Hall Beach Girls Hockey Association recently received 32 sets of new equipment for the girls aged nine to 17. The Hall Beach hockey program focuses on equal opportunity for girls, while helping to improve the lifestyle of its participants, the NHLPA says. (PHOTO COURTESY OF THE NHLPA)
