Nunavut Inuit students from the Ottawa-based Nunavut Sivuniksavut program meet with European Union MPs at European Parliament in Brussels. The students met with them earlier this week for 45 minutes to discuss Inuit opposition to the EU ban on seal products. NS first-year students landed in Paris on April 28 to begin a 10-day trip that also included visits to Vimy, Bruges and Amsterdam and meetings with politicians and officials to educate them on issues such as seal hunting, polar bears, climate change, and contaminants.
