Nunavut Teacher Education Program graduates Cassandra Young, Joanne Peters and Ashleigh Wesley flash happy smiles at their June 6 graduation in Iqaluit. Six students, Sarah Ayaruak of Rankin Inlet, Rosie Joamie of Pangnirtung, Peters of Iqaluit, Wesley of Iqaluit, Young of Iqaluit and Stuart Crose of Iqaluit, received their Bachelor of Education Degrees in a special ceremony with Nunavut Arctic College and the University of Regina. NTEP, in partnership with the University of Regina, offers the NTEP program to prepare Nunavummiut to become teachers in Nunavut schools.
