Photo: Nunavik community gets a new, more efficient power plant

A group of students from Tukisiniarvik elementary school in Akulivik tour the Nunavik community’s newly-buit power plant. Akulivik mayor Adamie Alayco and other officals from the Hudson coast community helped inauguate the new Hydro-Québec facility Oct. 14. The new power plant has a capacity of 2,019 kilowatts.
